Getting to conference

Where should I book accommodation during the conference?

Our official conference hotel in Lahti is Solo Sokos Hotel Seurahuone. There is capacity reserved for out guest until 27 September 2023. Please find the accommodation offer from Solo Sokos Hotel Seurahuone here.

What to do, see and experience in Lahti?

We wish you are able to extend your stay in Lahti. Feel free to explore the possibilities at Green Lahti or Visit Lahti.

How far is it from the hotels to the conference venue?

It is a short 10 to 15-minute walk from the hotels to the venue. You can also use the shuttle bus from and to the hotels during the conference day: Seurahuone - Sibelius Hall at 7:55 (recommended) and 8:15. We also provide the shuttle bus back to Sokos Hotel Seurahuone non-stop 19.00 - 22.00.

Where is the conference venue located?

The Construction Goes Circular conference takes place at the Sibelius Hall located on the shores of Lake Vesijärvi at the following address: Ankkurikatu 7, 15140 Lahti. For more information, visit the Sibelius Hall official website.

What are my options for travelling to Lahti from Helsinki Airport?

There are few options you may consider. There is a train connection from the airport to Lahti. You may also book a private taxi. If you prefer this option, please consider arranging a joint ride with others attending our event. In our Event App powered by Whova, you can find a special section for this. 

What is cancellation policy for accommodation bookings?

Please book accommodation with our booking reference codes. In case your participation needs to be cancelled for any reason, you are able to cancel your room reservation with no cost until the arrival day.  

Is there parking at the venue?

Sibelius Hall is convenient to get also by car. There are parking area close to Main Entrance, on the other side of the street “Ankkurikatu”. Please, note that parking in this area is not free and do not include to conference package. On weekdays, between 8 am and 6 pm, parking in Sibelius Hall Area costs €1.00 for the first hour and €0.50 for each subsequent hour. You can pay for parking at the machine or through the EasyPark and ParkMan applications

Is there an event app for Construction Goes Circular conference?

Indeed. We use the event app powered by Whova to make your event attendance easier, more convenient, and useful. We highly recommend using this app before, during and after the event - to get the most out of your event experience.

How can I get my Event App?

Make it two. When registering for our event, you can use both the Event Web App and Mobile App.

Download the Whova App from Google Play or App Store. Please sign in by using the same email address you provided while registering to the event. Your invitation code to the Construction Goes Circular event is Peikko2023

Why do we have the event app?

Event App is a handy tool for you, for example to:

How do I check-in myself into the conference?

Check-in and badge delivery begins in Sibelius Hall at 8:00 in conference morning. You will find us by the main entrance of Sibelius Hall close to cloak room and entrance to our conference venue “Carpenteter’s Hall”.

We will not send you any tickets beforehand. Those won’t be needed to enter the Sibelius Hall.

How Much is The Conference Fee?

The Fee for conference is 180 EUR (+VAT 24%).

How do I register for the Construction Goes Circular conference?

To register for the event please visit the Construction Goes Circular conference registration page. The submission of an online registration is regarded as a firm booking to our event.

Are there a restricted number of delegate passes available? 

We expect to host ca. 150-200 attendees at the Construction Goes Circular conference. If you have not registered yet, we recommend you do so quickly. 

I want to register many attendees and do not want to fill in multiple forms on the registration page?

How do I change my personal information in-between my registration and the event day?

If something changes from the time you registered to event, you can always change your personal information by using our Event App.

When do I need to pay my conference fee?

We will send invoices to all participants after the event. However, please provide your payment information while registering to our event..

Cancellation

 

Can I cancel my registration for the event?

The registration is binding.

If the registrant is unable to attend the event for any reason, they may substitute someone else to attend in their place by informing us at info@constructiongoescircular.com

If the registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person, the following cancellation and refund arrangements apply:

  • Registrations cancelled after August 31, but before September 20, are eligible for a 50% refund of the conference fees paid.

  • Registrations cancelled after September 20, are not eligible for refund.
